Leaving Iraq:
Mother Jones has a
comprehensive report on the hows, whys, and possible whens of the U.S. pulling out of Iraq.
.
Representative Pete Stark, D-CA, channeling yours truly:

"You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."

That's about as basic as it gets. Did you see the President grinning like a madman yesterday when he kept mentioning WWIII? Our President is a psychopathic nutjob and our soldiers are dying so his buddies can suck the middle east dry of oil.

And still, plenty of dumb shit Americans are sitting around going "Why is this man saying these terrible things?"

BECAUSE THEY ARE TRUE.
Wake the fuck up!

Troops are dying, our children are getting their health insurance stolen away and still we have 24% of the people who think Bush is the messiah! It's just... there are no words that describe the depth of lunacy and idiocy of these morons.

Thank you for dropping, I appreciate your comment.

I absolutely adored "daring the teaching gods" hahahahaha

That one was priceless and you should get your daughter to correct her mistakes otherwise she'll continue making them... great job teach! ;-)

The parent who wrote me that note should stick to French.. and I do make mistakes in English as well... wink

Take care

Love the cartoon! I can see the Iraqi's singing, "Oh blackwater keep on moving...." Sorry, showing my age here...

My poor friend Stram over at 15 seats has the last two remaining bushies posting there. The mentality, or lack there of, actually scares the hell out of me.

3 months in Iraq would fully fund SCHIP for 5 years....but Bush thinks the American People are too stupid to notice that.

Well, Poli, Some of us aren't too stupid to notice that fact, but ENOUGH Americans Are to allow him and the Republican party to screw over the lower income families of this country in order to keep giving the richest of the rich tax cuts.

Your reference to me as a "dumb shit American" has won me over. I'm sold!

Could you please provide a link to the poll that said 24% of the people who think Bush is the messiah? Thanks!

I got your link right here, bub.

Any American who can support the Bush Administration at this date is either a "dumb shit" or a really rich asshole who cares more about tax cuts than the well being of the country.

Which one are you?

Dingy Harry said...

I'm both!

Thanks for providing a place where people of opposing views can have deep and intellectual discussions, and all opinions are respected and not ridiculed.

Cheers!

I'm tired of arguing with trolls. Say anything you like and those who come to this blog will respond.

The fact is, thousands are dying because of Republicans, pro-war zealots, and people who can't seem to face the facts about Iraq and the economy.

For the first couple of years I was polite, while I got called a traitor and a pussy and all manner of other insults that were ridiculous. You want to provide some insight, feel free. Zipping in and leaving smart ass comments isn't contributing to the conversation either. But I imagine, it is all you have to offer = Pretending to be offended by my in your face commentary.

The Death of hundreds of thousands is what offends me. Republicans are simply hypocrites. I used to be one. I know. I managed to unfuck myself. You can too. Stick around and hang out. Maybe some of the links will rub off on ya, even if my abrasive pissed off posts don't.

I am not going to feel sorry for a bunch of moronic christers, closet homosexuals who are against gay rights, and chicken hawk racists that are running my country into the ground just so they can enjoy the largest tax breaks in American history while our country goes into debt.

And I damn sure am not going to mince words when the Shrubenfuhrer is trying to kickstart WWIII over oil.

Glad you stopped by, Dirty.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt

That, apparently, was a very different America than the one we see today. The asskissers that pass as journalists are a big part of the problem, but so are the Democrats, who collectively have no more spine than an amoeba. How far has the nation fallen when an elected official is force to apologize for, as you point out, speaking the plain truth?
